Welcome to Motivating Workplace! I am so excited that you have landed on this page. If you are looking for a website that you can find resources, articles, consulting, coaching, collaborative resolution, training or books on how to create a Motivating Workplace, then you are in the right place!

Over the past decades, companies and businesses have realized that if they want to be successful, then they must have employees who are motivated and excited to come to work. If you have employees who care about your company, they will go the extra mile to work hard and produce results. Wouldn’t you like to be the kind of manager or employee who works with a group of people who care about their job enough to put in 100% each day? Creating successful teams is another part of empowerment. When employees respect each other and are working together towards a common goal, it makes work alot more meaningful and fun.

Recognition at Work

Where rewards, praise and other external motivators are helpful in continuing individual commitment, it is the internal motivation that impacts us the most. You cannot motivate other people, but you can create an environment where they feel valued and where their self-esteem is handled with care. The only person you can change is yourself, and as a manager you have a great opportunity to examine your actions and attitudes as you create a motivating workplace. Managers can improve motivation by taking the following action:

  • Create an environment where employees find work they are good at and like.
  • Give each person the tools needed for the job.
  • Offer an opportunity to learn, grow, and advance.
  • Challenge others to do their best.
  • Reward efforts equitably.

Browse around and take away as many resources as you can to support you in having a Motivating Workplace!  Feel free to contact me if you need any support or have questions. Cathy
